Amy Boyet-Grubbs, Associate of Due Diligence, is responsible for due diligence and company formation activities for BioGenerator. Ms. Boyet-Grubbs conducts market assessments, and in cooperation with the BioGenerator team, develops potential business models for early stage technologies; often identified within the university setting. In due diligence, by identifying and querying input from field-specific expert consultants regarding the technical, regulatory, reimbursement, product development and business aspects of a project, she assists entrepreneurs to create early stage business plans to establish technical and business milestones that will help the company be best positioned to receive the next stage of funding. At the conclusion of due diligence, Ms. Boyet-Grubbs prepares a summary of the opportunity for the BioGenerator Operations Committee, and participates in the review of term sheets, corporate documents, Cap tables and Definitive Closing Documents.
Prior to joining BioGenerator, Ms. Boyet-Grubbs worked for Washington University in St. Louis for nine years. She spent the majority of her time working in flow cytometry research for the Department of Pathology and Immunology as a Senior Research Associate, then in the Technology Transfer Office as a Licensing Associate.
Ms. Boyet-Grubbs received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Biology from Culver-Stockton College in 1998. She received a Master of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2000. She also received a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing, communications, and strategy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005.
